ADHESION DOCUMENT Case Santa MòniCA
The following independent associations, artists and cultural agents want to embrace the ideas shown in the next statement issued by CdB (www.culturadebase.net):
We want to express our disagreement with the way the political institutions are dealing with the cultural activity in the catalan context. We are tired of the disdain shown towards it.
We reject the interventionism of the Catalan Department of Culture and Mass Media in the change of orientation of the Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, CASM. It is another example of an irresponsible way of doing cultural politics.
This is why we reclaim a rectification and a beginning of a new attitude focused on the needs of an independent and qualified cultural activity respectful with those professionals involved in it.
